Ok, so the reason why I would send a message was cuz there was a lot to tell you and Mel. :-) She is doing all right, sicker than she's ever been but not in the danger zone. She's critical but stable. Her oxygen was all over the place last night and was kind of scary because she was on 100% and she still wasn't breathing well. They got that situated and she is doing well enough that they have brought her down to 78%. Her heart rate was running high and still does when the pain meds start wearing off. But her nurse requested that she be able to get them more often so that there isn't that lull of meds and she gets really uncomfortable. She's on two different blood pressure meds that seem to be doing well, but she was getting so hyped up last night and this morning that they had to give her a paraletic drug. That freaked me out when they said the words, we're going to paralyze her. I had visions of her laying there motionless but crying on the inside. Not a pleasant thought. But they assured me its more like the stuff they give you before intubations and stuff, no memory of the situation so that was a relief. The poor child has gone thru so much. :-P She's still fighting like a champ though and I know your prayers really are helping us all. I love you guys so very much and can't wait until months down the road and the day we can come visit. God bless and I'll keep up with the updates!" name=spamBody>
